Connect DeepSeek
You need API key. About two minutes.
1Get your API key
API key
sk-…- Open API keys on the DeepSeek Platform.
- Create a new API key and give it a name.
- Copy the key before closing the dialog: it is shown only once.
Read only. Checking the balance costs nothing.
Open the pagehttps://platform.deepseek.com/api_keys
2Add it to CreditBar
- Open CreditBar from the menu bar and choose Settings, then Accounts.
- Click Add account and pick DeepSeek.
- Paste the API key into the matching field, and give the account a label you will recognise.
- Click Test connection, then Add. Numbers appear in the menu bar within a minute.
Keys are stored in your Mac's Keychain and only ever sent to DeepSeek. Nothing passes through a CreditBar server.

Reports CNY as well as USD on some accounts. The first balance is used.
