Connect Railway

You need Account token. About two minutes.

1Get your Account token

Account token

Paste the Railway token
  1. Open Account Settings, Tokens in Railway.
  2. Enter a name and pick No workspace (or your workspace) in the dropdown.
  3. Click Create and copy the token. Do not use a project token.

Railway, Account Settings, Tokens. Create an account token. A project token will not do: it cannot see the workspace's billing and answers with no workspaces rather than an error.

Open the page

https://railway.com/account/tokens

2Add it to CreditBar

  1. Open CreditBar from the menu bar and choose Settings, then Accounts.
  2. Click Add account and pick Railway.
  3. Paste the Account token into the matching field, and give the account a label you will recognise.
  4. Click Test connection, then Add. Numbers appear in the menu bar within a minute.

Keys are stored in your Mac's Keychain and only ever sent to Railway. Nothing passes through a CreditBar server.

Compute spend for the open billing period. With more than one workspace the figures are summed and no limit is shown, since a limit belongs to one workspace.
