Connect HeyGen

You need API key. About two minutes.

1Get your API key

Paste the API key
  1. Open the API page in the HeyGen dashboard (Settings, API).
  2. Generate an API token and copy it.
  3. Store it safely: HeyGen will not show it again without regenerating.

From Settings > API in HeyGen. Reading the balance is free.

2Add it to CreditBar

  1. Open CreditBar from the menu bar and choose Settings, then Accounts.
  2. Click Add account and pick HeyGen.
  3. Paste the API key into the matching field, and give the account a label you will recognise.
  4. Click Test connection, then Add. Numbers appear in the menu bar within a minute.

Keys are stored in your Mac's Keychain and only ever sent to HeyGen. Nothing passes through a CreditBar server.
