Connect ElevenLabs

You need API key. About two minutes.

1Get your API key

  1. Open API Keys in your ElevenLabs settings.
  2. Create a key and give it a name.
  3. Keep the key restricted and grant read access to User only.
  4. Copy the key.

Needs the user_read permission. Read only, no usage charge.

2Add it to CreditBar

  1. Open CreditBar from the menu bar and choose Settings, then Accounts.
  2. Click Add account and pick ElevenLabs.
  3. Paste the API key into the matching field, and give the account a label you will recognise.
  4. Click Test connection, then Add. Numbers appear in the menu bar within a minute.

Keys are stored in your Mac's Keychain and only ever sent to ElevenLabs. Nothing passes through a CreditBar server.
